Ms. Vonnie
DirectorMs Vonnie is our Director. She has two children, a boy and a girl. While most of her career has been in Health Care, she always wanted to work with children. She loves teaching children new things and enjoy watching their eyes light up when they accomplish a goal.
Her hobbies are: horse- back riding, hiking, volleyball and spending time outdoors with her family.
Ms. Peggy
Infant TeacherMs. Peggy is the lead teacher in our Infant room. She and her husband have been married for 26 years. She has 3 boys and many grandkids. She has 20 plus years of experience working with children. She has been working with Lighthouse Learning since 2015. She loves spending time with her family. In her free time she loves cleaning and hanging out with her husband.
Ms. Kristina
Infant TeacherMs. Kristina is our Infant teacher and a mother of two amazing children and a little doodle. She fostered for four years and has been in childcare industry for seven years. She likes to cook, bake, paint and spend time with her family.
Ms. Lola
Younger Toddler TeacherMs. Lola is our ``Younger Toddler`` teacher and a mother of three wonderful girls. She loves children and hanging out with her family. She started with Lighthouse in 2015 and has been loving every moment with her Toddlers.
Ms. Kristine
Older Toddler TeacherMs. Kristine is our Older Toddler room teacher and has been with Lighthouse since 2014. She loves Toddler age children since they bring a lot of energy. She is a mother of two boys. She enjoys camping, reading and being outside. She loves camping in summer.
Ms. Paige
Preschool TeacherMs. Paige is our Preschool room teacher. She joined Lighthouse Learning family in the summer of 2023.
Prior to joining Lighthouse, she had worked as an elementary school school teacher in St. Cloud. She is also certified E1 Montessori guide.
She married her best friend in 2022. She also welcomed her first child, Elizabeth into her family in 2023 and enjoys watching her develop at Lighthouse Learning. She is a Preschool teacher at Lighthouse Learning family.
In her free time she enjoys jogging, gardening, fishing and camping. Outside is her favorite place to be!
Ms. Trish
PreK TeacherMs. Trish is our PreK teacher and has been married to her husband for over 25 years. She has been a preschool teacher at Lighthouse since 1992. She enjoys working with children of all ages, but mainly 4 and 5 year olds. She is a magician and enjoys doing magic shows for children. Her favorite things to do outside of teaching are golfing, bowling and snow-mobiling.
Ms. Julie
Preschool/SA TeacherMs. Julie is teacher of our afternoon Preschool/SA program. She has worked in a Montessori school for 15 years. She truly loves to teach numbers, letters, colors and love to use Montessori approach. She loves watching the growth and development of children in art abilities. She has AA degree in music from St. John’s University and Bachelor’s degree in art for grades K-12 from Bemidji State University.
In her spare time, Ms. Julie loves to read mystery and suspense novels, garden, oil paintings of outdoor scenery and cabin in wood. She also loves giving piano lessons to many of the students. She is always thinking of various activities to do with children that include learning and fun.
